Trump: We are negotiating with Iran on tariffs and easing sanctions
Washington, April 8 (Hibya) – U.S. President Donald Trump stated that negotiations on nuclear disarmament and the lifting of economic sanctions are ongoing following the change of leadership in Iran, adding that nuclear facilities are being closely monitored by the Space Force.
U.S. President Donald Trump made a statement regarding the diplomatic process with Iran and the monitoring of nuclear activities.
Referring to the political changes in Iran and the nuclear situation, Trump said: "The United States will work closely with Iran, which we have determined has undergone a very productive regime change."
Trump added: "There will be no uranium enrichment, and the United States, together with Iran, will dig out all deeply buried nuclear material."
Emphasizing that enriched materials are under surveillance, Trump stated: "The material has been under very meticulous satellite surveillance both now and in the past. Nothing has been touched since the date of the attack."
Providing information on the economic aspect of the negotiations, Trump concluded: "We are negotiating and will continue to negotiate with Iran on tariffs and easing sanctions. Most of the 15 items have already been accepted. Thank you for your interest in this matter."
