Tsahkna: Deterrence against Russia must be further strengthened
New York, September 23 (Hibya) - Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna said the security situation on NATO's eastern flank and deterrence against Russia must be further strengthened.
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna thanked Senator Ruben Gallego for his longstanding friendship and support for Estonia and the Baltic countries, and said they discussed the security situation on NATO's eastern flank during the meeting.
Tsahkna also said the meeting addressed Europe taking a greater role in its own defense, increasing pressure on Russia and developments in the Middle East.
