Tsahkna: Pressure on Russia and support for Ukraine must increase
Tallinn, October 11 (Hibya) - Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna stated ahead of the European Union Foreign Affairs Council meeting in Luxembourg that support for Ukraine should be increased and pressure on Russia should be strengthened.
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna announced that support for Ukraine, pressure on Russia, and developments in the Middle East are on the agenda of the upcoming European Union Foreign Affairs Council meeting in Luxembourg.
Tsahkna stated, "Support for Ukraine, pressure on Russia, and developments in the Middle East are critical issues on our agenda."
Noting that Russia's attacks are becoming increasingly brutal, Tsahkna said, "As Russia's attacks become increasingly brutal, support for Ukraine and pressure on Russia must also increase."
Tsahkna noted that sanctions targeting 1,600 individuals and entities linked to Russia's military-industrial complex are scheduled to be approved tomorrow.
Emphasizing that developments in the Middle East also require attention, Tsahkna stated, "Attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure are unacceptable."
