UAE and UK discuss military cooperation
Abu Dhabi, October 9 (Hibya) – Major General Hamid Mohammed Al-Rumeysi, Commander of the United Arab Emirates Naval Forces, met with Rear Admiral Daniel Thomas, commander of the maritime component under the British naval command and Deputy Commander of the Combined Maritime Forces.
According to a statement from the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defence, Major General Hamid Mohammed Al-Rumeysi received Rear Admiral Daniel Thomas and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed various matters of mutual interest. The talks focused on strengthening military coordination and cooperation, exchanging expertise and experience, and further developing areas of collaboration between the two parties.
