Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha held a meeting with Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.

Sybiha said that peace efforts, bilateral cooperation and international developments were discussed during the meeting.

Sybiha also said that the situation in the Black Sea and its impact on markets were discussed, emphasizing that restoring freedom of navigation is critically important for global food security.

Sybiha said that Ukraine is ready to play a constructive role in this matter and that it attaches importance to India's engagement.

Sybiha also said that preparations for the next meeting of the intergovernmental commission between the two countries, which is planned to be held soon, were discussed.

Noting that the meeting will have a strong business dimension and will focus on innovation, Sybiha said that Ukraine is interested in developing an active partnership with India in science, education, technology, agriculture, information technology and the pharmaceutical sector, as well as in other areas.
