UNRWA: Over 12,000 staff continue humanitarian operations in Gaza
New York, October 30 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) announced that more than 12,000 staff members in the Gaza Strip continue to provide education, health, and essential humanitarian services.
UNRWA stated that more than 12,000 of its employees continue to deliver education, healthcare, and basic humanitarian aid in Gaza.
The statement highlighted that, despite difficult conditions, UNRWA staff teach displaced persons, provide medical services, and carry out vital tasks such as water distribution and waste collection every day.
UNRWA emphasized that these efforts by its staff once again demonstrate the importance of the agency’s fieldwork, adding: “Despite everything, they prove one fact: #UNRWAworks.”
