The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) announced that over the past year, Umm Khaled and her family have been forcibly displaced multiple times in Gaza.
In UNRWA's statement, it was said: "The last place they sought refuge in is a building that has been converted from a UNRWA school into a shelter. Ten people are trying to live by sharing a small part of a classroom. Umm Khaled describes their living conditions as follows: there is no clean drinking water, not enough food, no gas for cooking. Due to the blockade imposed by Israel, her family cannot even access basic needs. Umm Khaled’s only hope is to hear news of a ceasefire one day."
