New York, April 27 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) announced that people in Gaza are trapped in a cycle of deadly violence and poverty.

According to the UNRWA statement: "Since March 2, Israeli authorities have not allowed the entry of humanitarian aid and commercial goods into the Gaza Strip. Following the collapse of the ceasefire last month, intense military activities and clashes have escalated. Hundreds of civilians have been killed and injured. The blockade must be lifted."
