Uzbekistan and Bahrain Foreign Ministers met in Manama
Tashkent, August 21 (Hibya) – Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani and his delegation in Bahrain’s capital, Manama.
The meeting took place in a warm and constructive atmosphere with the aim of further strengthening relations between the two countries.
The parties exchanged views on expanding political dialogue, increasing trade and investment volume, and sharing institutional experience. Current and important issues of regional and global cooperation were also discussed.
During the meeting, which placed special emphasis on developing cooperation between Central Asia and the Gulf countries, an agreement on visa exemption for diplomatic passport holders was also signed.
Minister Saidov emphasized that relations between Uzbekistan and Bahrain are developing on the basis of friendship and mutual respect, expressing determination to turn the ideas discussed into concrete projects.
