Zelensky: Ending conflicts saves lives, lasting peace is the best path
Kyiv, April 23 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that stopping conflicts saves lives and that lasting peace is the most appropriate solution.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made remarks on developments in the Middle East and global security issues.
Regarding the cessation of conflicts, Zelensky said, “Stopping conflicts is always good because it stops people from losing their lives. If you can save lives, that is always good.”
Emphasizing a lasting solution, Zelensky stated, “Of course, lasting peace is the best way to end the war, but if that is not possible at the moment, stopping the conflicts is also positive.”
Assessing the Russia-Ukraine war, Zelensky said, “If we want to end the war, we must tell Putin that he is wrong. We must all stop Putin together.”
Referring to cooperation in defense, Zelensky added, “We have signed UAV agreements with Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.”
