Zelensky reports 2 deaths in attacks on Kyiv
Kyiv, July 10 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Russia launched a large-scale combined attack last night that lasted about 10 hours.
In a statement sharing details of the attack, Zelensky said that 18 missiles, including ballistic ones, and about 400 attack drones were used, with around 200 of them being "Shahed"-type UAVs.
Zelensky said that the main target of the attack was Kyiv and its surrounding areas, and that Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kirovohrad, and Kharkiv regions were also under fire. According to him, 2 people were killed in Kyiv and 16 others were injured so far.
He emphasized the need for faster implementation of sanctions against Russia and stated:
"Pressure on Russia must be strong enough that they truly feel the consequences of their terror. We expect our partners to take faster steps toward investing in weapons production and accelerating technological developments."
