UNRWA: Humanitarian aid to Gaza blocked for 11 weeks
New York, July 10 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) announced that Israeli authorities have not allowed humanitarian aid into Gaza for 11 weeks.
In a statement, UNRWA said: “If fast, reliable, safe and uninterrupted humanitarian access is not ensured, more people will die in Gaza.”
The agency called for urgent and large-scale delivery of aid to the region.
