Zelensky announced that he had a phone conversation with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof.

He emphasized that today is a very special day for Ukraine: “Dick, thank you for your important and warm words of support to our people and all Ukrainians. We greatly value the support of the Netherlands and the solidarity of the Dutch people. Thank you for standing by us and helping to save lives.”

Zelensky added that during the call they discussed with partners diplomatic efforts and the meetings in Washington:

“There is now a real chance to end this war, and Ukraine is ready to take constructive steps to bring true peace closer. However, Russia shows no intention of peace and continues to bomb our cities. All the signals coming from Moscow these days we interpret the same way. There is a need for pressure and a high-level meeting to make them change their stance and discuss all issues.”
