Albares Meets with Farhan
Johannesburg, 23 November (Hibya) – Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares, in his meeting with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan on the sidelines of the G20, emphasized the importance of joint efforts for peace and stability in Gaza and the West Bank.
Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares met with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan during the G20 meetings. In his statement after the meeting, Albares said that both countries are strengthening their efforts toward the Middle East peace process, adding: “We are joining forces to ensure peace and prosperity in Gaza and the West Bank.”
Albares reiterated Spain’s support for the State of Palestine, stating: “We are committed to the State of Palestine. We are working for peace and stability in the Middle East.”
The meeting was described as important for coordinating diplomatic initiatives in the region and supporting the international community’s peace efforts.
