Aliyev attends opening of Shusha State Vocational Education Center
Baku, November 7 (Hibya) – Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev visited the Shusha State Vocational Education Center, which reopened following extensive renovations, and received information about the educational facilities established at the center.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the Shusha State Vocational Education Center on November 7, following extensive renovation work.
Azerbaijan's Minister of Science and Education, Emin Amrullayev, briefed Aliyev on the facilities established at the center. It was stated that comprehensive renovation work at the center began in March 2025 under the ministry's instructions.
The two-story educational building, with a capacity of 360 students, includes 9 workshops, 3 training areas, 5 classrooms, an art room, physics and chemistry laboratories, and information technology and military training rooms. The center also features a workshop for the production and restoration of musical instruments and a dining hall.
The five-story student dormitory includes a conference hall, technical creativity areas, workshops, a library with an electronic library, classrooms, bedrooms, recreation rooms and fitness areas.
The center aims to contribute to training a skilled workforce for reconstruction projects in Shusha and the surrounding areas.
