Foreign Minister Araghchi said he generally avoids presenting his arguments on the core elements of negotiations through the media.

He emphasized that repeating lies does not change fundamental truths, adding: “As a founding signatory of the NPT, Iran has the right to a full nuclear fuel cycle. Moreover, while completely rejecting nuclear weapons, several NPT members enrich uranium. Aside from Iran, this club includes several countries from Asia, Europe, and South America.”

Araghchi stressed that maximalist positions and provocative rhetoric only undermine the chances of success, stating: “A reliable and lasting agreement is possible. All that is needed is strong political will and a fair approach.”
