Araghchi: We came not to sell war, but to build peace
Tehran, September 27 (Hibya) - Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, commenting on his visit to New York, delivered a message of peace and diplomacy while stressing that Iran would maintain its firm stance in the face of any attack.
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi made remarks on the “Meet the Press” program regarding his visit to New York with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
Araghchi said: “President Pezeshkian and I did not come to New York to sell war. We came to build peace.”
Regarding Iran's position in the face of any attack, Araghchi said: “Iran remains resolute in the face of any attack, even if that attack comes from an apocalyptic war.”
On diplomacy, Araghchi said: “At the same time, we are ready for real diplomacy.”
