Araghchi: We have not yet seen whether the U.S. is truly serious about diplomacy
Tehran, April 25 (Hibya) - Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi stated that his visit to Pakistan was productive, adding that the U.S. approach to diplomacy remains unclear.
Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi made important statements following his visit to Pakistan. He emphasized that the visit was highly productive and highlighted efforts toward regional peace.
“We had a very productive visit to Pakistan; we greatly value its good offices and brotherly efforts to bring peace back to our region,” Araghchi said, stressing the importance of cooperation between the two countries.
Araghchi also addressed the issue of ending tensions against Iran, stating, “We shared Iran’s position on a workable framework to permanently end the war against Iran.”
Referring to the ongoing process with the United States, Araghchi said, “We have not yet seen whether the U.S. is truly serious about diplomacy,” sending a message to Washington.
