Herzog comments on the attack at the White House
Jerusalem, April 26 (Hibya) - Israeli President Isaac Herzog made a statement regarding the shooting that occurred outside the event hall during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
Herzog stated that it was a great relief that U.S. President Donald Trump, his wife Melania Trump, and the guests were not harmed in the attack. Herzog said, “We are grateful that the law enforcement officer who was shot during the attack is safe.”
Herzog added that he is praying for the safety of the United States and its leaders.
