Baghaei announced that the United States continues to abuse its authority in the UN Security Council to block the adoption of a resolution aimed at halting the genocide in Gaza.

He also stated that the U.S. is misusing its influence and power to help shield the Israeli regime from accountability for its heinous crimes and ethnic cleansing, adding:

"This situation has made the United States the most determined and consistent accomplice in the genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and crimes of aggression committed by the Israeli regime. It is time for the international community to stand up against such brutality, which shakes the fabric of international law and drags the fundamental values of humanity into collapse."
