Bahraini Foreign Minister to visit Pakistan
Islamabad, October 7 (Hibya) - Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani will visit Pakistan on October 7-8 at the invitation of Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar.
Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani will pay an official visit to Pakistan at the invitation of Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar.
According to a statement from Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar and Al Zayani will co-chair the 3rd meeting of the Pakistan-Bahrain Joint Ministerial Commission during the visit.
The talks will cover all aspects of relations between the two countries, while steps to further develop cooperation in various areas, particularly trade, investment, economic cooperation, defense and security, labor and cultural exchanges, will be assessed.
The parties are also expected to discuss regional and international developments of mutual interest as well as cooperation on multilateral platforms.
The statement noted that relations between Pakistan and Bahrain are based on shared faith and values, mutual respect and long-standing ties between their peoples, adding that the visit reflects the momentum in relations between the two countries and their shared determination to further develop bilateral cooperation.
