U.S. Ambassador to Ankara and Special Envoy for Syria Tom Barrack made a statement regarding cooperation between Chevron and Iraq.

Emphasizing the importance of the partnership, Barrack said: “Today marks an important milestone for the people of Iraq and for Chevron, one of America’s leading energy companies. This partnership reflects strong support for Donald Trump’s vision of promoting peace in the Middle East through shared prosperity.”

Highlighting Chevron’s role and its economic impact, Barrack stated: “Chevron’s commitment to operate a field that accounts for approximately 12 percent of Iraq’s oil production demonstrates confidence in Iraq’s stability and potential. American investments in Iraq mean new growth opportunities; they create jobs, enhance economic resilience, and advance a future of mutual prosperity.”
