Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen stated in a social media post that thousands of people attending the demonstration in Amsterdam had once again expressed their concerns about the situation in the Palestinian territories and Israel.

Berendsen said the anxiety and sense of helplessness felt by demonstrators in response to ongoing events were understandable. He emphasized that the Dutch government would continue working with its European and international partners to achieve stability in the Middle East, improve humanitarian conditions in Gaza and establish a viable, democratic and independent Palestinian state living alongside a secure Israel.
