Panama, January 28 (Hibya) – Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva met with Bolivian President Rodrigo Paz in Panama to discuss infrastructure, investment, and regional integration.
Brazilian President Lula da Silva met with Bolivian President Rodrigo Paz in Panama on January 28, 2026. During the meeting, infrastructure projects and investment opportunities between the two countries were discussed.
Lula stated that they discussed routes for South American integration, Bolivia’s access to ports, and ways to facilitate the marketing of its production. The resumption of dialogue in the energy sector and joint initiatives to combat organized crime in the Amazon were also addressed.
During the meeting, Lula invited Paz to pay an official visit to Brazil in the first half of 2026, with the participation of business representatives from both countries planned. It was also reported that the foreign ministries of Brazil and Bolivia would carry out work to evaluate priority projects.
