Brekelmans: Russian ships being monitored in the North Sea
Amsterdam, February 11 (Hibya) - Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans announced that the Dutch navy had escorted a Russian research vessel out of the North Sea with the Johan de Witt ship and NH90 helicopter.
Defense Minister Brekelmans stated that Russian ships are being closely monitored in the North Sea. The Minister mentioned that the Dutch navy, using the Zr. Ms. Johan de Witt ship and NH90 helicopter, had escorted a Russian research vessel away from the sea.
Brekelmans emphasized that the country remains on constant alert to protect its maritime infrastructure and interests.
