Brekelmans: We are closely monitoring Russian naval movements
Amsterdam, October 11 (Hibya) – Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans announced that they are closely monitoring Russian ship movements in the North Sea.
Brekelmans stated that the navy vessel Zr. Ms. Luymes and a helicopter accompanied a Russian submarine detected in the area.
In his statement, Brekelmans emphasized that the Netherlands aims to prevent potential sabotage attempts by Russian vessels against underwater infrastructure by monitoring such activities.
