Budrys: Together we are building a safer Nordic-Baltic region
Vilnius, Jan. 20 (Hibya) – Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys met with ambassadors of the Nordic-Baltic (NB8) countries to hold talks aimed at strengthening regional security and collective resilience.
Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys held a meeting with the ambassadors of Estonia, Latvia, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Iceland.
Highlighting the importance of Nordic-Baltic cooperation, Budrys said: “Nordic-Baltic cooperation is one of the cornerstones of a safer and more prosperous region. Today, together with the ambassadors of Estonia, Latvia, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Iceland, we held comprehensive discussions on key regional and global issues.”
Emphasizing the advantages of the NB8 format, Budrys stated: “The NB8 format brings together eight like-minded countries, strengthens collective resilience, deepens political dialogue, and enhances our ability to respond to common challenges.”
Assessing the future vision, Budrys added: “Together, we are building a safer, more innovative and more competitive Nordic-Baltic region that stands strong in Europe and beyond.”
