Ottawa, May 5 (Hibya) – Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney held a phone conversation with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
Prime Minister Carney stated that he spoke with his counterpart and congratulated him on his election victory.
He noted that they discussed the next steps between their countries, saying: “In the years ahead, Canada and Australia have great opportunities to continue leading together. I look forward to the work ahead and to resuming our conversation soon.”
