Political Consultation Meeting Held Between Palestine and Switzerland
Ramallah, May 5 (Hibya) – A new round of political consultations was held between the State of Palestine and Switzerland at the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.
The meeting was co-chaired by Ambassador Adil Atiyya, Director of the European Department, and Ambassador Monica Skok Kergos, Swiss Deputy Foreign Minister and Head of the Middle East and North Africa Division of the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Officials from the foreign ministries of both countries also attended the meeting.
Ambassador Atiyya discussed a number of issues of mutual interest and addressed recent developments in the occupied Palestinian territories. He particularly highlighted the ongoing genocide and forced displacement of civilians in the Gaza Strip, as well as the violations and crimes committed by occupation forces and settlers in the West Bank, especially in Jerusalem.
