Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney made remarks on Canada’s global network of economic relationships.

Carney said Canada has a network of economic relationships that is unmatched worldwide.

Carney said this network gives Canada tariff-free access to 1.5 billion consumers around the world, adding that the country continues to invest in trade infrastructure.

Carney said, “That is why we are building ports, trade corridors, roads and bridges,” noting that this infrastructure will enable Canadian companies to expand their customer base worldwide and more easily sell the products they grow, produce and process.
