Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said support for Ukraine continues and announced a new partnership to develop new drone capabilities for the Canadian Armed Forces and provide Ukraine with the equipment it needs.

Carney said in a social media post that Canada stands with Ukraine.

Carney said Canada has established a new partnership under which the Canadian Armed Forces will be equipped with new drone capabilities and new employment opportunities will be created.

Carney said the partnership aims to provide Ukraine with “the equipment they need to secure a just and lasting peace,” adding: “Canada stands with Ukraine, now and always.”
