Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney stated that a new agreement aimed at facilitating investment processes between the two countries was announced in Sydney with the participation of Canadian and Australian investment leaders.

Commenting on the matter, Carney said, “Today in Sydney, Canadian and Australian investment leaders announced a new agreement that will make it easier to invest between our countries.”

Referring to the economic impact of the step, Carney added, “This means more opportunities for our businesses, more growth for our economy, and higher-paying careers for Canadian workers.”
