Cassis held phone call with his German counterpart
Bern, June 19 (Hibya) – Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis held a phone conversation with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul.
Minister Cassis stated that he and Wadephul had an in-depth exchange of views on the situation in the Middle East.
He emphasized that Switzerland welcomes and supports all diplomatic efforts to de-escalate the situation, adding: “We also discussed the situation in Ukraine, Switzerland’s OSCE Chairmanship in 2026, and the important step of launching consultations on the Switzerland-EU package.”
