Cassis: Moldova’s resilience is of great importance for Europe
Vienna, May 14 (Hibya) - Swiss Vice President and Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis stated that during his meeting with Moldovan President Maia Sandu, they discussed the humanitarian effects of the Russia-Ukraine war and its implications for Europe’s security architecture.
Swiss Vice President and Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis, together with the Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), met with Moldovan President Maia Sandu.
Cassis stated that during the meeting, the humanitarian effects of Russia’s war against Ukraine and its consequences for Europe’s security architecture were evaluated.
Emphasizing that Moldova’s resilience is important for all of Europe, Cassis said that the country’s stability plays a critical role in regional security.
