Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Two Y-20 transport aircraft of the Chinese army arrived in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, carrying tents, blankets, and other daily necessities.

The aid was sent following the 6.0-magnitude earthquake that struck Afghanistan’s Kunar province on August 31. The earthquake claimed the lives of more than 2,200 people and injured over 3,600 others.

Li Ming, spokesperson for China’s National International Development Cooperation Agency, announced on September 4 that the Chinese government would provide 50 million yuan worth of emergency humanitarian aid to Afghanistan. Within this framework, the humanitarian supplies sent brought hope to the local population.

Li Ming pointed out that in the past 20 years, more than 22,000 civilians had been killed in airstrikes in Afghanistan, stressing that this year the United States cut off aid to Afghanistan and took no concrete action in response to the recent earthquake in Kunar, adding:

“It seems that Washington only offered verbal condolences and rejected the humanitarian aid requests of NGOs.”
