Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper noted that twenty-five years have passed since the Security Council’s groundbreaking resolution on women, peace and security.
Cooper said in her statement: “Rape and sexual violence are still being used as weapons of war. We must not abandon our efforts until these horrific harms are buried in history.”
