Costa: Allies must act like allies
Brussels, December 8 (Hibya) – European Council President Antonio Costa said that allies must act like allies.
Costa highlighted the responsibilities allies have towards each other, stating: “Allies must act like allies. We must respect each other’s sovereignty.”
Costa noted that Europeans do not share the same vision as Americans on some issues: “Europeans do not share the same vision as Americans on various matters. This is natural. What we cannot accept is the threat of interference in Europe’s democratic life.”
