Czech Foreign Minister Lipavsky spoke with Israeli counterpart Sa’ar
Prague, July 14 (Hibya) – Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky announced that in a phone call with his Israeli counterpart Gideon Sa’ar, they discussed relations between the European Union and Israel as well as developments in the region.
Lipavsky reaffirmed support for the EU-Israel Partnership Agreement, stating, “It is in the EU’s interest to maintain its influence in an unstable region, not to withdraw from it.”
Minister Lipavsky also expressed hope for the resumption of full-scale humanitarian aid in Gaza and for the achievement of an early ceasefire.
