Guterres calls for urgent action on Sustainable Development Goals
New York, July 14 (Hibya) – UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres issued a call to the global community following the release of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Report.
Guterres stated that the report is a call to action, saying: “We must act together for a sustainable future that everyone deserves.”
According to the report, only 35% of the SDG targets are progressing as planned. Guterres stressed that progress is still possible but requires urgency, unity, and determination.
