Czech President Pavel visits the Zlin Film Festival
Zlin, June 2 (Hibya) - Czech President Petr Pavel visited Zlin as part of the Zlin International Film Festival for Children and Youth.

President Pavel stated that the festival is important both locally and nationally. He noted that the event is one of the oldest and largest film festivals of its kind.
The visit also highlighted the tradition of Czech animated cinema. The statement noted that animation characters known by different generations were created at the Zlín film studios and that they have played an important role in the city's international recognition.
