Prime Minister Petr Fiala announced that he hosted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Fiala commented on the meeting as follows:

"History teaches us that appeasing aggressors is never the right path. Therefore, the Czech Republic will continue to firmly stand with Ukraine, which defends not only its own territory but the security of all Europe. Today, a joint declaration on the Ukrainian Unity Center in the Czech Republic was also signed. This center, to be established in Prague, will help integrate Ukrainians into Czech society and, when the time comes, facilitate their voluntary return to their homeland."
