Dar: Pakistan is taking on a role that prioritizes peace
Islamabad, April 13 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar shared a speech delivered in the UK Parliament regarding Pakistan’s diplomatic role.
According to Dar, British MP Mohammed Afzal stated in his speech that Pakistan plays an important role in efforts to end tensions between the United States and Iran, saying: “Pakistan is playing a leading role in efforts to end the conflict between the US and Iran by prioritizing peace.”
Afzal also said: “Today, I asked the Prime Minister how the United Kingdom supports the Government of Pakistan in its efforts to achieve lasting and sustainable peace in the Middle East.”
