Dar: We are deeply saddened by the passing of Her Highness Princess Astrid
Islamabad, September 11 (Hibya) - Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar issued a message of condolence following the death of Norway's Princess Astrid.
Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar extended his condolences to the Norwegian Royal Family and the people of Norway over the passing of Princess Astrid.
Sharing his condolence message, Dar said: “We are deeply saddened by the passing of Her Highness Princess Astrid, shortly after the loss of her beloved brother, King Harald V.”
Dar concluded his statement by saying: “We extend our heartfelt condolences to His Majesty King Haakon VIII and the Royal Family. The Government and people of Pakistan stand with the Royal Family and the people of Norway.”
