Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen met with France’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot.

Stating that they are working in close cooperation with France to address common challenges and build a strong and secure Europe, Berendsen said, “Today we discussed the conflict with Iran, its regional dimension, and our commitment to assisting our citizens.”

Berendsen also emphasized the importance of support, including long-term assistance to Ukraine. Berendsen said, “I welcomed France’s commitment to strong security guarantees. It is very important for Europe to take greater responsibility for its own continent. We are actively investing together in this area.”
