Amsterdam, January 20 (Hibya) – Dutch Foreign Minister David van Weel held a meeting with Rwandan Foreign Minister Olivier Nduhungirehe.

During the meeting, the situation in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, the peace process led by the United States (US), as well as recent developments and geopolitical issues were discussed.
Van Weel emphasized that peace in the Great Lakes Region cannot be achieved through the use of force, but through decisions taken at the negotiating table, underlining the importance of dialogue during periods of high tension.
