Egypt supports Pakistan-Saudi Arabia strategic defense agreement
Islamabad, September 19 (Hibya) - Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a phone conversation with Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Abdelatty congratulated Pakistan and Saudi Arabia on signing the Strategic Mutual Defense Agreement, describing it as an important milestone in strengthening partnership, trust, and cooperation.
The two ministers also exchanged views on regional and international developments. They highlighted the importance of peace, stability, and economic progress. Reaffirming their commitment to multilateral cooperation, both sides expressed eagerness to hold concrete engagements at the upcoming 80th UN General Assembly.
