In her statement, von der Leyen emphasized support for the U.S. President’s efforts, noting that Ukraine must be in the strongest possible position before, during, and after any potential ceasefire.
It was noted that this issue will be a top agenda item at the EU Summit (EUCO) and the meeting of the “Coalition of the Willing.”
