Fletcher: We allocated $1 million to contain the cholera outbreak
New York, September 18 (Hibya) - United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) chief Tom Fletcher announced that he had allocated $1 million from the United Nations Emergency Fund to contain the cholera outbreak in Kwango province.
United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs chief Tom Fletcher said he had allocated $1 million from the United Nations Emergency Fund to contain the cholera outbreak in Kwango province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Fletcher said support for essential health services, water supply and sanitation efforts would help protect lives.
