Ghebreyesus: WHO’s pandemic preparedness work never stops
Geneva, October 13 (Hibya) – World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated that the WHO’s work on pandemic preparedness continues.
WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in his statement that the WHO’s pandemic preparedness efforts are ongoing.
Ghebreyesus said:
"Today, our Epidemic and Pandemic Intelligence Centre in Berlin launched the Open Source Epidemic Intelligence (EIOS) System 2.0.
This enables all countries to identify and respond to potential threats daily by analyzing large amounts of publicly available information and alerts."
