Herzog held diplomatic meetings with world leaders in Costa Rica
San Jose, May 8 (Hibya) - Israeli President Isaac Herzog met with leaders from several countries during his official visit to Costa Rica to discuss bilateral relations and international cooperation.
Herzog carried out intensive diplomatic contacts as part of his official visit to Costa Rica.
The visit took place within the framework of the farewell ceremony for the outgoing President of Costa Rica and the inauguration ceremony of the new president. Herzog held bilateral meetings with numerous world leaders and senior officials attending the events.
The meetings included the King of Spain, the presidents of Chile, Brazil, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama and the Dominican Republic, as well as prime ministers, foreign ministers and parliamentary representatives from various countries. Contact was also established with a senior government official from the United Arab Emirates.
Herzog is also expected to hold his first official meeting with Costa Rica’s new president following the inauguration ceremony.
The statement emphasized the historical friendship between Costa Rica and Israel, noting that the aim is to strengthen political, economic and technological cooperation between the two countries.
